Just wondering if anyone knows of conferences / workshops that are being conducted in Australia and Asia Pacific that would be attended by operators of sulphuric acid plants or potential miners that are planning on building acid plants.

The only one that I am aware of at the moment is the Australasia H2SO4 Maintenance Workshop in Sydney in April 2010.

Cheers,

Malcolm

Malcolm,

The next conference that I am aware of is in Canada hosted by Auburn/Outotec. It is a gathering of acid plant operators in Canada to discuss maintenance and operating issues. The conference is in Sudbury on October 8. Deadline for registration is August 15. You may not be able to justify a trip to North America unless your need is urgent. Otherwise you will need to wait until 2010.

The contact for the conference is John MacLean - Manager Sulphuric Acid Services john.maclean@outotec.com
+1 705 682 2222 ext. 232

There is an one page flyer for the conference that I can send you if you provide your e-mail address.

Thanks Douglas,

No need for the flyer, we have an office in Toronto that is already aware of the event.
